Description:

This is a celebration painting of sorts. It is my five hundredth Florida painting since 2000. I was driving home from a morning painting sesson and I passed this bull in a pasture next to the road .I turned around to photograph him and he waited for me to take his picture. He was calm and didnt seem to mind my presence Eileen Hale was kind enough to inform me that this guy is no doubt a steer . Thank you Eileen. I will keep the title anyway . It has a certain swagger that I like.

Congratulations on 500 paintings since 2000! I'd like to see more paintings of cattle around, and I'm happy to see this one. I hope you'll join the Animals group, and add it to our group pages. I hate ta tell ya, though - he's probably a steer, not a bull. But I love seeing him, anyhow.
