Description:

The sun rises over and glistens on the sea as viewed from Penarth near Cardiff in South Wales. This is a view over the Bristol Channel from Penarth toward the Somerset Coast. The Bristol Channel has the second largest tidal range in the world. The two islands on the horizon on the right are those of Steep Holm and Flat Holm.
