Description:

This digital image was drawn line-by-line with a mouse, using an algorithm derived from the classic fractal, the Hilbert Curve (Hilbert 1891). NOTE: The lines appear gray in the preview only because they are too fine to be rendered accurately at less-than-full size; in the actual print, the lines are completely black. The full title of this drawing is "Hilbert Lace 1, stage 7." It was featured in Cantanker Magazine issue 3 1/2 (2007).
