Description:

I splashed leftover paint onto the canvas. When it was full, this is the painting I "coaxed" out of the chaos. : )

Judy, This is awesome...what a great work! You coaxed a winner from the chaos. It is my new favorite of all your pieces.

This is a fabulous painting Judith full of life and kinetic energy. Lots of scumbling and different textures. I like how you've handled the water. Brilliant artwork!

Judith, maybe you need to use this technique more often. To me this is the strongest piece in your portfolio. Everything about it works, the composition, the color, the values, and especially your handling of the water. Did you use a palette knife? A very nice painting...

I love this, your work is beautifully loose, I find it very attractive.

I like this painting also. I love the color and the texture. At a distance it looks like any intigrated painting but up close it's all difused. james

Lovely piece created as the universe was out of chaos I appreciate your use of the format here it makes your composition flow so well. the textured painting must be a delight in the right lighting I'm sure.

thanks for the comment judith, i appreciate that. this painting is amazing, it's colours and brushes ! I guess you live surrounded by these landscapes, i have the feeling you can't run away from there (lucky you), full of nature and fresh air, although these colours in particular don't say so ! congrats

I have fun looking at this. There's something about it that brings to mind the sort of cluttery, abundant feeling of really being there in the landscape, a rich disorder. And I, too, enjoy using up paint, and letting something emerge from these "leftovers" paintings. I like what has happened in this one.

I can't believe a "leftover paint" can be so beautiful. The color and composition are super. Great painting.
