The Pace of Nature - Freedom of the Seasons series

Adopt the pace of Nature: Her secret is patience. ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson The newest body of work "Freedom of the Seasons-The Pace of Nature" unearths a fresh view of New England's four seasons. My goal is to reveal Nature's energy and emotion using line, luminous color and movement. The painting process consists of translucent layers of acrylic paint mixed with alternating layers of pencil, India ink and mixed media to build texture, color vibrancy and depth. There is a magical tranquility in nature which connects mind, body, and soul; we being living entities connected by earth, air, and water.
