The way I figure is that you draw to truly please yourself, and if you like it then the chances are that someone else will like it as much or more than you. I have drawn what I thought was complete bullsh*t and people have loved it. So draw to please you and anyone else that likes it is just an extra bonus. :)

Oh wow. Well thanks a bunch, I really appreciate that a lot. I'm still trying to figure out what the public likes. Of course I push the ones that I think are good, but I never really know. I'm so glad that you like the work and again, thanks for the publicity!

what I mean is I did all that for your drawing here, didn't look like you publicized it at all. But I am only one person. Get a lot of people to do that and this work and you will become popular. (that's the theory anyway)

Ah! I think you're quite right Richie. I've typically been a reserved artist and haven't commented on or networked with many other artists until recently and I think that's been my downfall. I think this site has been good for me and I intend to become more involved. Thanks for the tip.

Well you know I like weird as well. One of the fun parts of creating is being able to take an idea from something already done and change it to make it your own. Let's face it....there are really no new ideas under the sun. I'm glad you like it.

great work Connery, this piece actually gives me an idea for something for me to do in the future, the left hand holding camera lens if in an unnatural position I could draw something like that but distort the hands to really unnatural positions but having the hand actually look normal. Tricks of shading :) I do things like that a lot, some hands of mine have 6, 7, even 8 fingers or are wildly distorted but you don't notice it until you look closely. I don't know I like weird what can I say :)
