Thomas Hart Benton is considered one of the greatest American artists of the twentieth century. Harry Truman called him: The best dammed painter in America. Tom painted America’s land and her people, her history in an almost naked and true light. He loved his work and was passionate about it. He lived for it and believed in its value. He was right. Today his original lithographs are commanding prices in the many thousands of dollars. Add at least one to your collection; no one regrets owning the very best. This is a rare and valuable piece of artwork.
