Description:
Hong Kong China presents a problem for me. There are so many pictures happening all around me, and the time with the best light is so short, that I don't want to waste a single precious moment setting up a tripod. Sometimes it works out, the blur of a hand held night shot creating an artistic impression. But this image was all about line and shape and its interplay with lights from the street and the buildings. So I took a breath, set up the tripod and created this. I love this image. It defines me as an artist I think. It is the creation of a cohesive whole from random chaotic elements.
