Description
There's something prehistoric - a timeless-ness about a locust - a grass hopper, how else to explain my fascination? There's just such a wonderful cadence and variation to their anatomical structure, I can never seem to satisfy my curiosity, my probe into their mystery. So I draw, allowing the imagery to braid and intertwine proceeding unconcerned with "capture" - of rendering an identity. I most interested in what becomes of it all - what portrayal emerges when freed from the pursuit of arrival.
