Horse Pen Creek Bridge Black And White
Photograph - Photography
This photograph is a different perspective of the Horse Pen Creek Bridge in Greensboro, NC. The bridge is made of iron and wood and connects two of our nature trails around our watershed Lake Brandt.
The Wild Turkey nature trail is for hiking and biking next to Lake Brandt. This trail is the perfect backdrop for a scenic hike or adventurous mountain bike ride whether you're experienced or a beginner! At just under five miles, this trail features a tight single track, moguls, sweeping burms, log pyramids, bridges of varying sizes, woop-dee-doos, some small climbs and a big rock jump. The Horse Pen Creek Bridge connects Wild Turkey trail to the Palmetto trail that parallels the western side of Lake Brandt s southern arm and offers opportunities for viewing waterfowl and wildlife as well as some interesting geological features unique to the area.
