Description
Many cultures believe the horseshoe is a protective talisman hung on or near the front door. Some hang it with the ends pointing up for catching and storing any good luck that happens by. Others such as the owners of this Provence door might believe that the shoe's good luck should be a gift to share.

Lainie! I'm not sure how I missed this one, but it's fantastic and so well composed. Thanks for the description. I'm going to keep my eye out for a rusty old horseshoe to put on my front door, too (ends pointing up). Voted!

Thanks so much, Pat. I'm sure you will have good luck whichever way you hang your horseshoe:)
