This is part of an
ongoing series of paintings done both in
traditional and or digital or both painting which are about dimentional beings, entities, angels
and other dimentions. This painting is about an ancient archangel called Micheal in
biblical and ancient Jewish Kabbala mythologies but predates even these systems to
ancient Greek , Roman Hellenistic times and before. This is a powerful divine being who
is responsible for protection and iterceeding wars and conflicts and personal attacks to
assist that the good side prevail. Esoterically speaking this being is neither male nor
female but takes on the outer appearence of male energy , Red/crimson and gold are colors
of this entity representing purity and action with power. This being holds a sword of
holly light/fire that slices through all evils with celestial precision. This archangel
is followed by an infinite army of devotee dimentional beings that have the sole purpose
to bring down the evils. In this painting I have incorporated symbols of the entity's
name in an esoteric language on the garment lapel, I've used symbolic spirals which
are powerful symbols for me representing energy going within and without and orbs which
are symbolic of omnipotent omnipresent divine energy. In these paintings I strive to give
the sense of energy and power within these archetypal dimentional beings and also believe
that the paintings are embued with this sacred universal energy.
