Description:

Inspired by images of never before conceived notions of the cosmos,Gregory A Page, in an ongoing project, has created another oil on canvas based on a photograph from the Hubble telescope. Hubble has brought visual to the abstract concepts of Carl Sagen and Stephan Hawkins. Hubble did for astronomy what television did for storytelling.Page did for Hubble what Monet did for the waterlily.This painting, entitled Space Vapors, is yet another fine example of Page's pursuit to display passion with color and brush stroke, to expose something that has never been seen by the eye, never conceptualized by the mind. This picture will add to the decor of any astronomer's office or den.
