I wrote a poem to go with this image titled "I Am The One". I hope you like it,
I am the one who rises above
Offering the world kindness and love
I am the one who is and who does
Bringing light where darkness once was
I walk among you an ordinary man
I am from where love first began
So easy to look the other way
So much harder to stand up and say
That we can live individually still yet as one
And share the world without knife or gun
Nobody knows how my heart aches
When morality and decency dissipates
I say a prayer for the human race
Let mankind live with dignity grace
For few have chosen an enlightened path
Too many filled with anger and wrath
Too much murder and terror today
Love yourself and all is a much better way
To have respect and tolerance for others
Better to live as sisters brothers
Suffering from disease no more please
Use cash spent on wars to find the cures
So forget your selfies but be selfless
And reach out to the needy and helpless
Open you eyes and open your mind
A better way if you seek you will find
Love with me and live as one
For I am the one
