I had added this to my favorites section and was cruising through looking at the group when the ice cream girl got my attention again. Kevin I must amend or change my response of the first time I saw it. The face reads fine and the surprise of the cold treat is done quite well.

Strong color, brush work, unadorned honesty and strong values give it power. I may step over the line here but this one shows evidence of being done from a photograph because the sharpness of the line between left side of the face and hair doesn't show any reflected light action or that rounding effect created by the shift of warm and cool as a shape sends light off in diverse directions as it rounds away.
