In The Name Of Tyranny
Digital Art - Digital Painting
In the Name of Tyranny
In that moment in time everyone forgot
Who was who and what was what,
Silence reigned and barbed wire spread.
I hated them for turning away.
I cursed at them from podium to bed.
Each had a name - a cause to blame.
My forgiveness is such a personal gift;
Signed alone - undelivered.
And now I curse the times when we forget
Who is who and what is what
When silence reigns and courage runs.
Now I hate the tragic abstract crime;
Not the faceless souls hiding in tinted cars.
Tyranny - I curse you from podium to bed;
You leave us the darkest epitaph:
In the hearts of generations marred.
