Description:
I just hate to see waste! My workbench was loaded with scrap silver. As I played around for ideas one day, I started to notice the interesting shapes left behind from other creations and a new series of jewelry emerged. Also at the time, I was excited to use a new shipment of beach pottery from ETSY's rubycquins in Scotland.
This handmade one of a kind pendant is layered with interesting sterling silver shapes and a bezel set piece of beach pottery that has a trace of opaque black glaze still on the surface. I set this pottery so the back is visible. An 18" chain is also included. The entire piece is blackened and satin polished to create dramatic contrast of the layered silver and pottery.
Pendant approximately 1.25" tall X 1.5" wide.
