Insane Person In Restraints
Based upon an expose-type photograph taken by the BAIN NEWS SERVICE probably around 1900 at the infamous Fool's Tower building at an Insane Asylum in Vienna, Austria.
You would think that being trussed up in handcuffs in a straight jacket was cruel and unusual treatment, but the Fool's Tower was built to provide humane treatment for the mentally ill because relatives would often torture them and treat them like animals, according to mental health professionals of the era.
