This picture represents the oppression of the Cuban people. The handcuffs holding everything together, is the symbol of the oppression, the pipe represents experience in vain, the clock marks how long it has been, the stop sign has to do with the everyday frustrations, obstacles and the development free will, the house (bohio) represents the Cuban people and their humility, especially during the 80's, everything seems lie a game and that is what the Chess piece and the checker board. The rest symbolizes the beauty of the Cuban skies and the palm tree.
