Very nice Marsha! This has some amazing qualities to it. I really like the way the paint travels on the yupo!

Marsha Elliott replied:

Thanks, Ken....sometimes it tends to travel too far! LOL!

Looks like you let yourself go here Marsha. Quite effective.....What is Yupo?

Marsha Elliott replied:

Yupo is a synthetic a very thin sheet of plastic that allows the paint to run and stays on top of the surface rather than soak in as with regular watercolor paper. The painter has only a limited amount of control so the results can be very unpredictable. With this one, I painted the flowers first, then the background, then spritzed it with water which caused all the feathering, runs

Thank you so very much for your lovely comment, Bette. It's been a long time since I've worked on Yupo.....almost forgot how much fun it is.......and sometimes aggravating, too!
