Thank you kindly, Natalie....glad you like it.

Marsha - what a wonderful piece ! There is so much life and movement here, loving what the Yupo can bring out for you. V

Marsha Elliott replied:

So much appreciate your comment, Janine....thank you!

Very nice Marsha! This has some amazing qualities to it. I really like the way the paint travels on the yupo!

Marsha Elliott replied:

Thanks, Ken....sometimes it tends to travel too far! LOL!

Looks like you let yourself go here Marsha. Quite effective.....What is Yupo?

Marsha Elliott replied:

Yupo is a synthetic material....like a very thin sheet of plastic that allows the paint to run and mingle.....it stays on top of the surface rather than soak in as with regular watercolor paper. The painter has only a limited amount of control so the results can be very unpredictable. With this one, I painted the flowers first, then the background, then spritzed it with water which caused all the feathering, runs

I always love your Yupo work. Very nice.

Marsha Elliott replied:

Nice of you to say, Jenny....thank you.

Such a nice wet, loose wc, and beautiful palette! I love iris also! FV

Marsha Elliott replied:

Thanks to my spritzer bottle, I can get some pretty wild effects. Thanks, Angie, for your nice comment.

Wow, Marsha! I really love this wet-in-wet technique - sooo beautiful! This is a little different then your usual style, and its fantastic work!

Marsha Elliott replied:

Thank you so very much for your lovely comment, Bette. It's been a long time since I've worked on Yupo.....almost forgot how much fun it is.......and sometimes aggravating, too!
