instantly loved this! am going to purchase it as soon as i'm able to order the largest size. btw, is "what's always there" alluding to the canvas? the "background" (non-conceptual, non-dual source) upon which the "objects" ("sky"/"ground"/"tree") appear? s' how it struck me for some reason. i find it really affecting in that way - striking, pleasing objects that manage to stand out and also somehow highlight the "space," the "awareness" of all appearing. also the "light" with no apparent source (because it is source), which is only "visible/reflected" by way of apparent "objects." otherwise, it'd be like a universe consisting of one star that has nothing to shine on. (would be really funny and not at all surprising if you have NO clue what the f i'm talking about. if so, i take back everything save the "i love it!"

Joey Blum, first off I would like to say thank you. Also, one of the many aspects of art I enjoy so much is how each individual can see, feel, absorb, interpret a piece of work. It is Always There is about the individual, it is about everyone. " It" physically refers to the solo tree that is out there growing, maturing, struggling, experiencing, providing. " It " also refers to all of us. If you look at this piece and you feel loneliness, then it is always there. If you feel strength, then it is always there. Honesty, deception , truth or lies, your choice. Personally it is many things, the friend I have lost, the triumph in achievement, love, hate, life....me. In the end I do know what you are taking about and I really appreciate your enjoyment of this piece.
