In my little home town of Nanaimo, a wonderful Halloween tradition exists. The day after Halloween night, people bring their Jack-o-lanterns to a little stretch called "the shady mile" on the country road of Jingle Pot. A group of volunteers light candles in all these wonderful faces and there is a steady parade of people all night enjoying this incredible display of hundreds of lit pumpkins.
