Alicia, thanks for relaying your and your students comments to me. I used to teach art in a middle school. Please tell them that it did not take a long time because I splashed leftover paint (I don't like to waste paint) partly used on other paintings onto this canvas as I cleaned up for each day. When the canvas was full of paint, I studied it to see what I saw in it, and I could see how the colors and lines could become a city. So I made it into a city quickly!
