Description:

This is a portrait of my friend Jake, one of the several Batik Portraits I created. I used a total of three different dyes for this piece. The most challenging part, by far, of these Batik works was the placement of the melted wax, because after I poured it onto the fabric, it's permanant- or at least ridiculously difficult to isolate and remove that spot.
