Description:

When I saw this butterfly, there was only one way that I thought I could do it - stipple. For those of you who don't know what "stipple" is.. it's ALL DOTS! You lay one color over another to get a third or to enhance what's already there. I thought this would take me the rest of my life but, I was wrong. Wonderful composition. I particularly like the overlap of the frame by the butterfly. The colours are also wonderful, for example the hint of orange in the wings.

I do stippling for fun with ink...it's not easy! And for you to do it with paint, with many layers....WONDERFUL! You can't even tell that it's stippling! Everytihng about it is wonderful and I give many kudos to you! *applause*
