Actually the two shots I used the inversion for did not make the cut to get on the site.... (This time....) without inverting it the closest I can get to the ground is about 6 inches....

Nice,, JC did you use the tripod inversion to shoot this one? I think you have the same tripod that I'm using. Never used mine like that, I have always spread the legs to the max getting it next to the ground and placing the center boom at the 90 degree setting. That just seemed simpler to me.
