Description:

Summer is a wonderful time to spend at the nation's capital. Military bands often play throughout the mall. Here musicians have left their instrument case nearby as they play outside the Lincoln Memorial. The Washington Memorial is seen in the background as tourists lounge on the grass listening to the music.
