Beautiful work!! f/l

This painting depicts an actual place and it was painted from studies done at this location. Peahi is near the small town of Haiku on the north shore of the the island of Maui. This is the world famous JAWZ, the home of the winter olympics world championship tow-in surfing contest where the waves can get over 100 feet in height. This painting is a view from the 400 ft cliff overlooking the actual place where the tow-in surfers ride giant waves every winter. The waves depicted in my painting here are approximately 70 feet in height.
