Thanks Fabienne, for your kind comment. My deepest sympathies for the loss of your father! It is such a difficult time in one's life to lose a parent, I lost dad too 3 years ago! Cancer is such an awfull desease. I am lucky my mom was operated from 3 types of cancers..all cut on time. Like your dad had colon cancer..we almost did lose her , as she had lost 90 pounds in a month and a half! The colon was operated and the took 3 feet off ..but that was a close call! I too was operated for polyps last year, crossing my fingers! Fighting cancer is a big thing for our family ..so raising awarness and money for reasearch is a part our our lives, it is now a second nature to find new ideas to have people send money to there cancer society chapiters.

Thanks for promoting this capture..I get goose bumps every time I look at it. specially looking at my aunt being bald..I can't believe she has done it still ..we are very proud women in my family, but loosing her son, 2 years ago made hair loss very trivial to most of us! She is not on that picture ..as they were my sister, her daughter and my aunt (mom sister) getting shaved together..the photo of them 3 is on facebook . I might bring it up here it speaks volume too..and I get teary eye every time I see it! Thank you for you support, I really appreciate that and so will my family! :-D

Yes it is and the cause if something to cry about but the fight against cancer is has cause so many tears to be shed. My girlfriend has lost her mother last week 2 days after she had just cremated her grand-mother (her mother"s mother) cancer is cruel, my heart bleed for her to have to deal with all this grief! 4 months after the diagnosis, just like my cousin. it happened so fast. Thank you for your support!

Amen to that! And Thank you for the kind comment . I am thinking of actually sale this poster and have the funds going to the Cancer Society. every little penny going to the cause if one step towards healing and prevention..I can't change the world as I was told and they are right however I can change my world one penny at the time, one day at the time, having my self my own scare and still having to keep a close eye at my health has changed my outlook on life and on my own purposes. Seeing my mother battle 3 times and still winning the fight makes me want to push even more towards making a difference ..thank you for all you support that is so welcome ! Lets find a cure! :-D

Thank you for featuring my work in Stumble, Facebook, Google+, I am happy to hear that your sister is a surivor.that she is fighting it ..with your support ..she is a warrior..I will be having a good thought for her and your family as well..My mom is also a survivor (3 cancers..Ovarian and uterin they opened removed it all..and discovered colomn carcer..they removed a long part of it ..and then skin cancer..radio therapy were administer ..she has been in remission for 3 years now..I myself have 3 tumors in the uterus ..the medical team and I are keeping an eye on them ..so far they are not malignant..but since genetic has something to do in cancer..every 3 months I am getting check! Cancer has been robbing our family of my cousin last year 42 years old, my best fiend, 37 years old, 3 uncles 2 aunts, and as I am writing to you a friend of the family is lying in the hospital and one of her lung was removed ..she is now slowly recovering from this uge operation ..I guess we are both blessed in a way that we are witnessing loved ones recovering. This is not for sale but to raise awareness for the cancer cause..My sister and her daughter 2 weeks ago went along and had their hair shave as a dare to raise money for Leucan in Quebec, a non profit organization that her children that are battling cancer and their family. I will submit that picture of my sister Kissing her daughter with pride and tendrer love of a mother for her child sacrifices for the good of other..I applaud my youngest sister with pride ..this yes over 9000 people went for the bet and raised money for Leucan..they are aiming to raise 4.6 millions by the end of the year. I wish them luck and daring people to shave ..the hair (not color treated) are collected to make wigs..not wasted..their is a link to the new paper page in the bottom of that page. Description:

It is not a photo for sale but to enter in a contest. The Kiss Contest. I is a very touching picture as this is my younger sister Nancy and her young daugther 11 that did the brave action to raise money for fighting kid cancer with the organization Leucan in Quebec Canada. Where 9000 head were shaved this year to make wigs for cancer patients and where they are aiming to raised over 4,6 millions by the end of 2012 to pay for services and treatments of childrens fighting cancer and take care of their family during the time they are away from home for their child to receive their treatments..

I am extremely proud to see that at an age when most pre-teen worry about how they look, their hair, their clothes being the center of their life, my niece, my sister and also my autn 68 years (that lost her son to cancer last year age 42 ) and is not in that picture how ever she his on my facebook page..are courageous and brave enough for such a selfless act such as shaving their hair as a bet to raise more money for the cause ..so here on this picture my sister kisses her little 11 years old with pride and so much love being an exellent role model for her daughters..So here is my surprise to my sister as she has her photo on her facebook page with pride but I tought this is such an opportunity to celebrate courage, and the gift of empowerment to other that would be hesiting in helping for the cause..as well as honnoring one of your own who just passed away from cancer ..
