Klinefelters Syndrome & Healthy Male
Photograph - Photograph
Colorized illustration comparing the physical aesthetics of a man with Klinefelter's syndrome (on right) to a healthy male (on left). Men suffering from Klinefelter's syndrome have three sex chromosomes (XXY) and therefore have greatly reduced fertility. They have small testes, normal sperm production fails (azoospermia), and sometimes enlargement of the breasts (gynecomastia) and an absence of facial or body hair. Additionally, affected males may have learning disabilities and/or behavior problems.
