This work evolved from:
a. addressing an abstract concept 'The Extension of the Senses of Man'
b. I used 2 female artist friends as my models. They were scantily clothed (in long slinky 20 cent nighties picked up from an OP shop) and placed in a beach environment as a starting/reference point to address the theme, by way of exposing their human forms/skin/senses to the earth's natural elements ie sand,water, wind/air;
c. photographing/documenting their human forms in various 'creative' ways;
d. developing the series of b&w photographs (further exploring the images and developing medium further creatively)
e. then extended/further evolved from these photos to drawing/painting interpretations of the images produced.
And so the processes of interpretation can continue on, learning/applying many new creative artistic feeds/insights along the way.
