Gorgeous photo of Lake Shasta. I love that the lake is primary, in so many Shasta shots Mt. Shasta is the main point of interest! VF I have an antique shovel my Dad found there before they built the dam. Short handled, probably an old "gold miner's" shovel.

Great perspective to this landscape. I am in the light here at the edge, and it stretches to a distance blue gray haze in the distance. The wide angle view is also so much more inclusive of land and water to be seen. v/f

Garnett, Great scenic shot with all of that beautiful landscape out there. Great detail in the foreground of the photo with the dirt leading down the mountain to the tops of the trees and then leading you out to the beautiful lake and from there the photo just doesn't seem to end.
