I have admired the writings of Lao Tzu for some time dear Jane; this wonderful portrait really captures his beautiful aura - I feel as though I am sitting in front of him and it is a humbling and emotional feeling as his wisdom is all embracing - thank you my friend for the talent you have and the willingness to share it with all of us here at FAA - you truly amaze me, and yes I am most sincere!!! Thankyou Stephen. This was another painting from years back. I paint in a different style now, and sometimes hesitate to add older works. But "different" is not necessarily "better"...just different ! So thankyou very much for choosing "Lao Tzu" today !

You have captured the "wisdom" of this man. The colours could not be more perfect in the telling of this story
