This is a wonderful painting Bruce. I can see at a glance it is done by somebody who knows what they're doing. It's a an accomplished mix of light and shadow and bingo! I'm there. I can almost smell the grass.

Description:

This hillside pasture was illuminated with a late afternoon sun. The cows seemed to be content, a few meandering, most getting their fill of grass. This pasture is only a few hundred yards from my house and I have always wanted to paint it. I hope I did it justice.
