Anneke. Thank you so much for your nice words about my "Boy Eating A Sandwich" piece. Yesterday I went to Laguna Beach, California They have a couple of wonderful art shows there that last through the summer. I was talking to several of the artists. We were having a fun and informative discussion of paint. One artist in particular had some work using acrylic and oils together. During our discussions I just had to tell her about your Leo. Thanks again.

I like this very much! All cats are gorgeous particular the tiger but there is something especially appealing about the lion, that great mane and noble strong profile of authority. Well done!!

Anneke, You did a marvelous job giving your Leo a very serious look and an intense stare; I think he is trying very hard to see his way to Amersfoort to be able to thank you personally for his great portrait. I am married to a Leo and sometimes he has the same look about him, only he is much less hairy! Thanks for your always uplifting comments. MEM-L

Nice closeup! I love his expression. You really give a good sense of the fur, too.
