Description:

Light Show is a work from my Nocturne series which is a study of night illuminated by celestial and city lights. Night often camouflages the flaws and deterioration of city life and creates a world of clean forms and sparkling images, albeit veiled in darkness. In the Nocturne series, I have challenged myself to work minimally–to use basic geometric shapes and what appears to be only a few stark markings. I muse that in the darkness we frequently miss the finer details of life, unless we stop and take a closer look.
