Thanks Lin the secret is to get in front of the storm then when u see a stike count one thousand etc, til the next strike, then when you see that strike count how many seconds between strikes and when you reach that then click in bulb mode and keep the shutter depressed til you get another strike, Also use a tripod of course

Okay, now, I'm just flat out envious. I think I've worn out my "clicker" finger, trying to snag photos of lightning either a second too soon, or too late. :-) To catch one thusly framed is just too much. LOL. :-) (voted)
