Thanks Marilyn....its rather easy actually. Set up you camera on a tripod, point it at an active area of a storm and take 10-15 second exposures. Your bound to get something.

This is just terrific, Ronald. I've always wanted to get just ONE shot of lightning. Hasn't happened yet!
