Description:

Lime Kiln Light is on San Juan Island in the northern waters of Puget Sound. The International Boundary Line is in the Stait of Haro between the U.S. and Canada. This lighthouse is a near duplicate of Alki Point in Seattle. This tower was dedicated in 1914 and has been on duty since. San Juan Island State Park is open daylight hours only. Giclee canvas and archival quality fine prints are available from the gallery.

I think it is exciteing your doing Lighthouses!! and the history makes them even beter!! Have you thought of doing the most famous Lighthouse in history? The Lighthouse of Alexandria, built on the island of Pharos in Hellenistic Egypt.
