Description:

The ancient volcanic island of Thera was once the home of the Minoans. The volcano exploded about 3600 years ago wiping the Minoan culture out and left the crescent shaped island of Santorini, as we know it today. This is a painting of a remote point of the island that just happens to have a little church on top of it. I guess you have to take a boat to go to church. Saint Peter would have probably liked that.
