Description:

This plein air watercolor was painted on my last trip to New Jersey in 2000. I grew up on this river and used to scuba dive here when I was a teenager. In fact, when I was 13 years old, I bought a suba and wet suit and in March of that year (1960) I jumped off this dock, by myself and spent 20 minutes underwater, testing my new equipment. What a stupid kid diving alone. Back then they did not have certification and if you watched Sea Hunt, you thought you knew it all!
