Description
Loch Lomond is a freshwater Scottish loch which crosses the Highland Boundary Fault. It is the largest inland stretch of water in Great Britain by surface area. It is often considered the boundary between the lowlands of Central Scotland and the Highlands. It is 24 miles long and about ¾ mile wide with an average depth of 120 ft deep. The area is known for the sea monster (maybe) and a song called “The Bonnie Banks o Loch Lomond”.
