Thank you so much Tracy.

Wow! Very emotive work! l/f

Oh yes, I think that is the worst kind of loneliness...when you are surrounded by people but still feel totally alone.... I love all of your beautiful symbolisms here....Really incredible work, dear Clotilde!!!!! :)))xoxo fv

I had that feeling some time ago, now I am confronting the same loneliness without my James dear Laurie...hope one day it will go away. Thank you dear.

One of my husband's too dear kind Joe.

STILL one of my favorites dear friend - you are as talented as you are deep - all the best, always Clotilde! .......Joe

Some feel it more intense and my move to this country with my overprotective husband made me more susceptible to feel lonely and this is one of my inspirations for this painting Bijan.

Your apt description reminded me of a statement by the world-renowned humanitarian Albert Schwitzer. He wrote, "We're so much together in this world; and yet we're dying of loneliness."

Thank you dear Almo. Ok, now I will give you my interpretation, the light on her bosom represents she has a lot to offer, the mirror is on the floor because I ignored my weak character and accepted my husband's overprotection..my pose and the passing of time adds to my uncomfortable situation. In reality I lack decisiveness and for that I chose to accept his obsessive behavior without putting effort to help him and at the same time myself. His overprotection consisted in that I could not go anywhere without him because he believed something bad would happen to me. There are many more protections which went beyond reason but I gave you the main one...46 years without being able to go out without him!!...luckily he would take me anywhere I wanted and had enough time to do it. I must emphasize I was very happy with the rest of my life thanks to his love and devotion and my love for him.

Once again a wonderful painting dear Clotilde and once again so much to feel and to think ... Really do not want to criticize or change your titles, but I see the situation much more optimistic, ..I would say loneliness without, ..she is really alone, ..but there is such a warm and wonderful light in the bosom of this beautiful woman, a light that makes me think of warmth, happiness, peacefulness and soul, ..so I would assume happiness and peacefulness within ... and by the way, ..the mirror has been thrown away but it is not broken, which would mean seven years of sorrow and misfortune,..the mirror is intact and unbroken, ..so there is no hindrance for luck too ...Almo v/f

Too kind Wayne,, thank you.

I came to admire again this beautiful and emotional painting, dear Clotilde. Those reds you so masterfully combined here are absolutely gorgeous. Love how you realized the chiaroscuro, so perfectly as always... I am simply mesmerized by this painting...:) LFG+
