Description
Using the female form as a template Tree Dancers are my artistic vision of how we interact with the world around us They bathe in light, pull water up from the earth, exhale purity, and dance. Im not sure people credit the powerful energy that a tree represents. Trees have this incredible ability to pull life and form from the soil and using earth, water and light they structure themselves into the sky. That is what gives trees that dynamic that we read so many analogies into, and part of what allows the synthesis of Tree and Woman to work so well.

Beautiful! Congrats on your sale. :)
Mark Johnson replied:
Thank you so much Carol. The sale was out of the blue, and gave me a boost after a rather dismal showing at a 4 day outdoor show I took part in.

This is fabulous. iF you are at all interested in commercial art, this would score quite well at threadless.com. Check it out. A favorite from me.
Mark Johnson replied:
Thank you Laura. I totally forgot about that site. Maybe you're right and I finally have a piece that I think could do well there. I'll have to revisit it :)
