Howard Phillips Lovecraft (August 20, 1890 – March 15, 1937) — known as H. P. Lovecraft — was an American author of horror, fantasy, poetry and science fiction, especially the sub genre known as weird fiction. This piece was made to display at the 2007 World Horror Convention in Toronto. Stephen Jones, an editor of horror anthologies, and the author of several book-length studies of horror and fantasy films as well as an account of Lovecraft's early British publications, was the one person who made my appearance at the convention possible.
