Made In The Shade 2

( Copyright Mel Steinhauer all rights reserved ) Just off the southern Georgia coast you will find the scenic beauty of the Golden Isles. Jekyll Island is only 7 miles long and 1.5 miles wide, but has an abundance of wide, flat sandy beaches. There are also many centuries old Southern Live Oak Trees, like these covered in hanging Spanish Moss. Not long ago the dense and strong wood from these trees were used to make curved beams in the hulls of ships. The moss was used as insulation, mulch, packing material and stuffing for matresses. One sunny and warm spring day, this big old tree was just quietly doing its job so I really had it ... Made In The Shade.
