Stunning imagery! V=F

Michael Mazaika replied:

Thank you, Kristie. Spring (2013) was an especially colorful season at Gettysburg as the Park Service prepared the grounds for the 150th Anniversary commemoration.

You have truly done justice to this historical place Mike. Voted.

Michael Mazaika replied:

Dear Shelley - you have no idea how greatly I value your kind sentiments. If you've not had the opportunity to do so, my hope is that you would be able to visit this hallowed ground some day. I've never been disappointed on any of my hundreds of visits here (with or without a camera). - Mike

Beautiful photo, Mike... I need to get there!! I travel across the country and I love historical locations. nicely done! V!

Michael Mazaika replied:

Thank you, Tricia - spring was exceptionally colorful at the Battlefield in 2013. Three events (albeit short notice) that you may not be aware of: Nov. 19 (150th Anniv. of Lincoln's Gettysburg address, Natl. Cemetery - an annual event, be there by 8AM; Nov. 23 (Remembrance Day weekend, parade of re-enactors, illumination in the Natl. Cemetery), Dec. 7 (Memorial Illumination - an annual event at the Antietam National Battlefield in Sharpsburg, MD - 23,400 luminaries placed on the northern part of the battlefield, spend the day but be at the Visitors center by 3PM).
