Description:

A northern woodland country lane with maple trees in full autumn colors and distant woods and fields. The two track farmers lane leads right to the viewer with a thick cover of fallen leaves. The early morning sun shines across the lane and into the field. There are deep shadows on the lane and behind the tree trunks punctuated by the bright sunlight. The bright orange,red, yellow and gold leaves still on the trees are accented by the very dark tree trunks and branches peaking out from behind The ground underneath the tree and behind it is covered with fallen leaves and low bush blueberrys in thier autumn colors. The more distant field to the right is sun drenched and golden with less intense shadows. The very distant woods is mostly shades of green hinting that it is pine trees. The Thalo blue sky and drifting clouds finish off the oil painting.Winter is just around the corner.
