Description:

7 1/2-ft Recycled Maple Tree Sculpture
Eco-friendly 3D Art

I made this maple tree sculpture out of recycled plastic beverage containers, as well as other readily available household items, such as packaging & shipping materials (biodegradable and non-biodegradable). This project is about 85% complete. I have spent many hours of cutting, burning, molding and painting to make each part of my maple tree sculpture. My goal with this and most of my other projects is to use only recycled household items (plastic, styrofoam) in trying to create the illusion of a realistic-looking piece of art.
