HI Robert, Was searching the Lighthouses listing and this one grabbed me because of the warm montone color of the painting. It's beautiful. I had to look twice thinking at first sight it was an oil. YOu did a great job with this medium; the tones are so warm and inviting. Then of course I had to view your other work and very, very nice. I love the "To the Victor go the Sorrels, and also Roar.

Description:

The original is a watercolor, and was done as a demonstration piece for a class in watercolor painting that I was teaching at the time. It is painted using just two colors; Burnt Sienna, and Sepia, and was done that way to teach the class how to manenver the tonal values before going into the use of the various colors. The piece has been matted, covered in non-glare glass, and framed. The framed size is 20X24.
